China realizes that the whole matter of Darfur is an American and French propaganda and a means to get interfer in Sudan politics. All people knows there is a crisis there, but it is no as big as that of Gaza or Iraq. China is famous in keeping not interfering with interior politics as west does.
Intervention of the crisis in Darfur can greatly benefit China. If they are quick to realize that whichever nation contains the crisis first, controls the vast oil resources of the Sudan. Not to mention the admiration and respect from the world China would receive at the upcoming Olympics regardless of their own domestic woes...
Whatever China could gain, it is short-termed. In the long run, this precedent if occurred would open the door for others to interfere with Chinese domestic politics, and forcing China to give ground on foreign dealings. Not a bad thing for the rest of the world, just not so for China. Mind you however China is still going to pay lip service to this issue, at least until Olympics is over, after that China could care less about what the rest of us thinks.

China and the Sudanese crisis:
They will gain some respect from the world, lose will they they the many resources of Sudan.
Outcome China will do nothing for it is in there best interest, what ever that means.
