@Timjuh Because they are a former commonwealth state. Theoretically speaking they aren't fully under Chinese government. Hong Kong is a special administration. Therefore it keeps some of its things (i.e. the noticeable commonwealth march). The march song has changed though. It used to be R.A.F. March past to that.

Visited HK 7 years ago. Recently talking with a friend toured HK. All agree people in HK are rude and unfriendly. Especailly to none white tourist.
This is another example of identity issue of HKese: who are you? Chinese or Brits? Make up your mind? I won't call it multi-culturalism.
