@xul chuck everything else. Let me get to matches you would have actually observed. The World Cup. The WC before that. The Euro. Limited skill, my foot.
@cseiling There is no 'arguably' there. He IS the best box to box midfielder in the world at the moment. One who could get the ball from the feet of the best finishers in the game, get it to the other end and freakin' score.
..er the Bundesliga... munich dominated man City wich dominats the PL .. Sorry for my bad english but Schweinsteiger is one of the Best central midfielders in world..
@cseiling I've watched him for over 5 Years too. And if you think He is not creative or quite lame you havent watched the right Player ! in the Next six weeks munich will know how hard they will miss Schweinsteiger ! He is the creative Head of the team and just dominate the game.. He makes it faster, slower whatever He want to.. and in last Season Vidal wasnt bettet than him and sahin just played well cause of the BVB which played really well. And if you think you can manage the PL that far ov
I couldn't disagree more. I have watched Schweinsteiger for over five years and I have seen him move from a winger to a center mid, and now moving to a holding/defensive mid just because Kroos and Muller excel attacking but are limited defensively. He is arguably the best box-to-box midfielder in the world right now. He doesn't have the attacking prowess of Xavi, but he is extremely versatile. United and Madrid wanted him for his attacking and defensive abilities, not just attacking.
If he would ever play in the PL you'd be shocked how limited his skills really are. The usual (foreigner's) perception of him being on par with Scholes or even Xavi is flawed.
He is quite slow with his feet and his mind, has no creativity and is quite average in every other skill you take a closer look at. Last season at the Bundesliga Vidal and Sahin outclassed him with ease.
If the team plays well, he's a good player, but certainly not the superstar he was made by the press.
Yeah its going to be hard for a club to buy him its like Giggs and Scholes at united youth products maybe Muller will leave in future but highly doubt Schweinstiger will it's a shame too because he would be immense in the premier league
Love That Player <3

@Xul allgemeiner Schweinsteiger-Pessimismus. Offensichtlich kannst du nur nicht sehen, was über gegenwärtige Eindrücke deinerseits hinausgeht.
