  • If it's not a secret, how did you pay?

Because I have similar to this one to buy, and I do not know how to offer him?

  • @bcovic7 i paid 400$ and it required quite a bit of body work , however after the body work was done it sold for 2000$ with no paint work done , pretty much as it sits in the video.

  • automatics are more collectable, but in no way practical.my friend has an automatic,he doesnt have issues yet,but it shifts hard and overrevs the engine.

  • @FlamingTightyWhiteis

tell your friend to check the vachuum lines to the transmission , get a vachuum pressure test done , these automatic transmission change gears by vachuum lines

very different but efficient and easy to fix , german engineering at its best

  • @Rollzdogg Ok. Thank's.

  • @Rollzdogg do an oil change.. that should be done all 45000miles..

  • he wants it done, but there are cracked lines and a few lines gone altogether.he sent it to a shop but they didnt help much.could you make a video going over tranny lines so i can help him out? it would be greatly appreciated.im a bit car savvy so if i can help him with a classic,i will.

  • Change out that Auto to a nice manual, that slush box will leave you stranded even if you think its running good. Personal experience, and hell manuals are more fun anyways.

  • Nice video. Needs some TLC on the outside, but that you know of course. To me the engine sounds a bit weird. It should sound not so heavy and the diesel pump is too loud IMHO.

    Good luck with the restoration.
