Impulse Response is an in-app upgrade for the iPhone and iPod touch app, AudioTools, by Studio Six Digital. Impulse Response lets you record an Impulse Response (IR) in a room, studio, or hall using either an impulsive sound (balloon pop) or a sine-sweep excition signal (provided on http://www.studiosixdigital.com). After recording the IR standard acoustical parameters can be analyzed right on your iphone: Reverberation Time (EDT, T30), Clarity (C50,C80), Definition (D50), Center Time (Ts), Peak-to-noise Ratio, FFT as well as broadband Schroeder curve, EDT,T10,T20,T30. All recorded IRs can be downloaded to your computer as well as a .csv text file of all calculated parameters in octave- and third-octave band center frequencies. Impulse Response will be available in the next release of AudioTools.
