sorry to burst your bubble lol but the next cod game has been in development for almost half of a year now.....treyarch (the company that made world at war) is going to make the next cod.....it is speculated that it will be based on vietnam or the cold war but it has been CONFIRMED that they are making it and it should be released by november of 2010.

And I believe infinity ward (the company that made modern warfare and modern warfare 2) have signed on to produce one or 2 more call of duty games in the series but they refuse to do games based on the past and said they will only do present and future era war games and I believe they are fazing out the brand name "call of duty" aswell and strictly going to go based of there title name such as (modern warfare 2) unlike (call of duty 4 modern warfare)
