First in the 'Land of our Fathers' series Second Sight Productions visits award winning environmental farming cousins Brian and Patrick Barker who are on a mission!

Their 513 hectare mixed enterprise Lodge Farm in the pretty village of Westhorpe in Suffolk is run to produce excellent quality, high yielding crops for a variety of markets. Nothing unusual about that - but the added ingredient here is their inspirational approach and total commitment to increasing and improving the range of wildlife on their farm.

This delightful programme shows the farm at work throughout the year with all the fantastic arable farm machinery action you can expect from Second Sight Productions as well as exploring the environmental steps taken by Patrick and Brian that make this farm so special. We also discover the romantic Tudor links with Westhorpe and trace Brian and Patrick's family history with the farm and surrounding area.

And their mission? To create a farm which will survive well into the future in a responsible and caring way, to inspire the next generation and create a blueprint for British farming.
