I can tell that the music isn't advanced as say, Terranigma but...what? This is amazing!

@Camwi Apparently they did release Romancing SaGa in the U.S.. It was enhanced and sold for the PS2, but got hammered with bad reviews. Apparently it was hard to play, and hard to learn (just like the Japanese prefer it), and had poor graphics, story build, and was long, appealing only to hard-core RPG-ers. But, that's just what I've read; I've never played it.

The sprites look very similar to the sprites in FFV. I know it is Square, but they look alomost identical.

So it wasn't an exact port of the SNES game. I've never played this series so I wouldn't know.

Damn you Square, why didn't you release this in the US? What a beautiful soundtrack (which is no surprise, since it's Square).
