Elvis Presley Merry Christmas Baby
Written by Lou Baxter and Johnny Moore. Elvis recorded it during a jam session as RCAs Nashville studios on May 15, 1971. The single release was a minute and a half shorter than on the original album release, Elvis Sings the Wonderful World of Christmas. It did not chart. It was the A-side to O Come All Ye Faithful. This is the longer version, and it is available on Artist of the Century, If Every Day Was Like Christmas, and Walk a Mile in My Shoes-The Essential 70s Masters.
Yeah
Merry, Merry Christmas baby
Sure did treat me nice
I said Merry Christmas baby
You Sure did treat me nice
Gave me a diamond ring for Christmas
Now I'm living in paradise
Well I'm feeling might fine
Got good music on my radio
Well, I'm feeling might fine
Got good music on my radio
Well, I want to kiss you baby
While you're standing beneath the mistletoe
Take it home baby, take it home
Whoa whoa whoa
Rock it
I got music on my radio
I said, merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas baby
You sure did treat me nice
Yes, you did, yes, you did
Yes, you did, yes, you did
I said merry, merry Christmas baby
Sure did treat me nice
Gave me diamond ring for Christmas
Now Im living in paradise
Yeaaaaaah
I said, merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas baby
You sure did treat me nice
I said, merry, merry, merry Christmas baby
Well, You sure did treat me nice, mmmm
Gave me diamond ring for Christmas
Now I'm puttin' it through Al's mike
Yeaaaaa
Well I'm feeling might fine
Got good music on my radio
Well, I'm feeling might fine
Got good music on my radio, yeah
Well, I want to kiss you baby
While you're standing neath the mistletoe
Well I'm feeling might fine
Got good music on my on my radio
Dig in James, dig in
Well, I'm feeling might fine
Got good music on my radio
Wake up Puts
Well, I want to kiss you baby
While underneath your mistletoe
I said merry Christmas baby
Well You sure did treat me nice
I said merry merry Christmas baby
Well You sure did treat me nice
Thanks for posting this. It's the raunchiest Christmas song of all time ... closely followed by Elvis's version of Blue Christmas. Once a King always a King. Here's to the King.
