Omer Ihsas - Darfur Baladna

This is probably the most famous Darfurian song and its singer is a famous singer too, the clip was shot in Darfur as you can see and the song basically call for peace in Darfur. The Darfur problem is very complicated in my opinion and it's not as simple as the Western media is portraying it, in my opinion...it is a civil and tribal war...one fact that a lot of people don't know is that the Darfurian rebels are a major contributing factor to the destabilization of the region by their refusal to sign all peace treaties one after another and by continuing to fight even after one major group of theirs decided to sign a peace agreement that was weakened by those who chose to continue the fight....all this resulted in putting the Sudanese government is a very delicate situation cause from one side, and if they decide to fight back....then it's state sponsored genocide and if they decide not to fight, then they are blamed with not protecting its own Western citizens....
