That second run looked great... Great launch and tidy shifting! I have a Viggen that I'm still working on, but I'll be joining the Turbo-X club one day down the track :-)
-
@imprezatt true, the shifting on this car is horrible and getting a strong launch is more luck than skill, still love my Turbo X though!
-
Just work on those shift points and launch.
-
The GTI was prob a lot more tuned than the TurboX
-
2nd race was nice as hell
-
@imprezatt was it a DSG GTI?
-
The FWD aeros are slightly faster since they got less weight. man i wish mine sounded like yours!
-
smoked by a crap VW Rabbit. See I love Saabs but they just stink even with tuning.

Terrible launch with the Turbo X and you are losing about a half second between shifts! Bad driving,, Otherwise Turbo X would have eaten that GTI every round..

@EDOUBLE1212 Obviously you don't have one of these cars or you would understand the horrible tuning put in place by GM that causes a huge throttle delay.

i see...what r u using to tune the TX?
i'm looking at a BSR but unsure about the boost the AFR.
14.2 fast? hmm...i missed my wrexy.

pretty fast for a car that runs mid-high 15's stock with a downpipe and a reflash.
I managed a 14.28 last friday before my IC piping blew off.
I am using HP Tuners, specifically vtuner's stage0 flash, modified a bit.

how on earth do you get beaten by a gti golf??
meteora8888 2 years ago
I was messing with my tune all night and it wasn't running 100% to par, not to mention, it's the first time I raced this car.
Also, that GTI is fast! 14.2's all night long, with just a downpipe and reflash.
