Sayed Nasrallah's Speech Ramadan - August 17, 2011 - *English Dub* - Part 2 of 3

{Part 2 of 3} Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's Speech on August 17, 2011, at the Iftar banquet organized by the Women's body in the Islamic Resistance Support Organization in more than five areas in Lebanon: Beirut, Baalbak, Tyre, Sidon, and Nabatieh‏. His eminence started of his speech by talking about the many sacrifices made by the Resistance movement, indicating that it is not possible to have a resistance movement that is not fueled by sacrifices, be it in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, etc. Sayyed Nasrallah then talked briefly about the many achievements of the Resistance movement in Lebanon, such as the liberation of most of the Lebanese territory in 2000, as well as the liberation of all of the detainees with the famous prisoner swap deal with Israel. According to his eminence, "Targeting the resistance starts with the assassination and the arrest of its leaders;" alluding to the arrest warrants issued by the so-called STL.

Moving on to the matter of the STL, the Secretary General pointed that contents of the allegedly "sealed" of the Special Tribunal in Lebanon investigating the assassination of Rafic Hariri revealed nothing new, and in fact the indictment matched the information previously leaked by Der Spiegel in 2006, as well as by Le Figaro and by the CBC recently. In addition, the indictment was based solely on circumstantial evidence and telecommunications data, of which the latter was refuted by Hezbollah who previously demonstrated "the extent of Israel's manipulation of the telecom sector in Lebanon," and the fact that "the mobile phone numbers of certain people were used without their knowledge, and this alone is sufficient to contest the indictment". The Secretary General then began talking about the current conspiracy in Lebanon woven by certain political parties which aim to create division between Lebanon's sects. He talked about the recent Antelias incident, which was a mere personal conflict that March 14 did not hesitate to attribute to Hezbollah. Other examples his eminence gave include the Lassa land disputes and the issue of so-called military provocations with the Progressive Socialist Party. Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that this technique of stirring unrest and attributing any and all issues to Hezbollah is not new from the part of March 14, who were in fact accusing Hezbollah of the assassination of Hariri even before his corpse was moved from the location of the incident.

To conclude, Sayyed Nasrallah said that no matter what the conspiracies being planned by certain parties in Lebanon, the Lebanese people will be able to get through them thanks to honest leaderships from all sects. The Secretary General assured the audience that "the Resistance will always be able to protect Lebanon, its people, dignity, wealth throughout the people-resistance-army balance. The Resistance will remain committed to Lebanon, its citizens, unity, civil peace, strength, cohesion. All sedition conspiracy will go with the wind. The Resistance, that you protect, will triumph all sedition schemes."
