Lingenfelter L/28 with Mike Copeland, Dave Mikels and Pete Basica

The Lingenfelter l/28 Camaro debuted at the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Challenge Saturday November 5, 2011 with Driver Dave Mikels. The LPE built L/28 posted a 1:51, the 9th Fastest road course time against the best-of-the-best Pro-Touring cars and drivers. Danny Popp has been refining the winning Corvette Z06 for over three years. Years of development and hard work are required for this event, unless you are Lingenfelter. Then you go from concept to track in just over four weeks and run at speed for the first time in the main event.
