Thousands of potential students and their families attended our October Open Days held at the Headingley Campus this weekend - and spirits weren't dampened despite the weather.
A packed programme was on offer for visitors, including the opportunity to see the brand new state-of-the-art Carnegie Village accommodation and Broadcasting Place facilities. Students and staff were on hand to answer any questions for those thinking of studying at Leeds Met. In addition to subject talks, campus tours and visits to student accommodation, there were also talks on the application process, financial advice and how the University can help students to find work whilst studying and after graduation. All talks were designed to answer the most commonly-asked questions of prospective students and their parents.
Leeds Met's Student Marketing Manager, Zoe Marlow, said: "I was really pleased with the number of visitors which were registered to visit us for open day. Our open days are the fun way to find out about Leeds Met and life at university where you can combine looking into your academic studies at the same time as finding out about everything else Leeds Met and the city of Leeds has to offer."
