I was there also. We hung out all day & were about 5th row center. Don't remember Carrot Top though. I recall the openers being Dave Matthews, Rejers, The Tragically Hip. Fun time to live in Boulder (McCabes & The Sink) with The Samples & Big Head Todd popping at the same time.

I was there! I recall a little known band called DMB opened at this show, as did carrot top - he had about a case of beer after the show (or was that before?) - Summer of Stars 1994.

I have always dreamed of seeing the samples at red rocks! If i had the choice to see any band or performance ever I would chose to see the samples play live at red rocks!

Still the best today!!! Find them playing and you will not regret it. Sean Kelly really plays his soul, no matter who backs him up. Scooter/VT
