Critical Thinking

Most people, at one point or another, DO ponder the "basic life questions"--and then proceed to latch on to a belief system (usually religious in nature) that provides them with psychologically and emotionally comforting answers.
TRUE critical thinking--approaching every issue "without precept or presupposition"--would be the death knell for religious faith, which is why most apologists only pay it lip service.

Good message if it wasn't coming from someone with such a narrow and static worldview. It almost seems as if Randall here wants us all to become christians.. but no, surely not!

I like this video

What does this have to do with critical thinking?
-
This video is a good example of someone who's heard about critical thinking, but never really learned those skills :/

@OsakaChiyoDestroyU If you didn't notice, he posted your comment. I bet he is just doing that so he doesn't get any trolls saying "F YOU! YOUR STUPID AND CHRISTIAN!"

In an information and entertainment packed enviroment, there seems little time to mull things over. Maybe the farmer laboring in the field was fortunate to have so much time for his mind to ponder reality. Today's kids are not pondering anything except how to manipulate their parents. They haven't time, as they are either in school trying to learn what is being fed to them or playing video games. What a year of hard labor would do for them. The poor spoiled basturds. They haven't got a chance!

Hey Jimmy --
