UPDATE 2: with the new addons function in the newer blender versions, this technique is no longer needed. I'll still leave it up for anyone who might need it for whatever reason.
UPDATE:
I've used the technique on version 2.5, and it works perfectly. However scripts from previous versions may not work.

After years of trying to find a way to install python scripts, I finally found a way to do it easily. The terminal commands I used are:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE
killall Finder

  • ALirght thanks man but could you reconmend me a script to use to export to After Effects and maybe make a tutorial on it because i tried it with my current script and it failed

  • I need a PC version of this tutorial.

  • Thanks for your work and for sharing. There is another, maybe easier way to access the hidden folder: You can get an FTP Program and just use it to access your own computer. With "Transmit" for exmple you get a two column view: Left column is "local", that means your computer. You can now set the preferences of Transmit to show hidden folders. So you can acces every hidden folder/file via Transmit in easy drag and drop style - and you do not have to change your system in any way.

    Greetings!
