"Check out the infectious new single and video 'Mr Bailiff' by the 1EYE Band from Birmingham, out now via industryrecords.org ...radio station Programme Controllers should listen as it has serious pop cross over potential." - David Rodigan, BBC Radio 1Xtra

Mr Bailiff has also been included on the soundtrack for 'The Hooligan Factory', a UK film spoofing football hooligans. This inspired 1EYE producing an unofficial anthem supporting the England football team for the World Cup 2014 http://youtu.be/Qe5EmkYUlDU. The Hooligan Factory is currently the second most downloaded Universal Pictures UK movie ever.

Taking their inspiration from bands such as Madness, Prince Buster and UB40, 1EYE produce infectious sounds and catchy lyrics that immediately strike a chord with their audience. From the style of music they play to the clothes they wear, 1EYE take a unique approach to a sound that we all know and love. Focusing on topics that are current and often political - they know how to make music people can connect with.

1EYE's concept is based on the way the old-school bands run, the Stevie Wonder and Prince style bands. It's a full on live mini orchestra with no miming going on and the bandleader directs. Each member has a wealth of experience in the music industry including work with Plan B, The Beat, Norman Jay, working as radio DJ's and playing for big festivals across the UK and abroad. This brings a fresh and exciting feel to their music, whilst still encapsulating the true sound of reggae.

They are a tight-knit team who are not only fantastic recording artists, but also enthralling performers. Their live shows are bursting with energy, passion, excitement, movement and an intense connection with their audience. 1EYE have played at some great UK festivals including One Love, Reggae City and Shambala.

The band has recently recorded with Tippa Irie, Apache Indian and Musical Youth. Their eagerly awaited album 'Worries & Trouble' is guaranteed to rock the dance-floor! 1EYE have also supported Plan B, UB40, Toots And The Maytals and Jimmy Cliff on the UK leg of his world tour. "[1EYE] were as musically tight as Cliff's own players." - Angus Taylor, reggaeville.com

"With their enthusiasm and skills pointing them in the right direction, things look very good." - Anna Tripp, WhatsOn UK

"if you have even a passing interest in Reggae or Two Tone you're making your life more miserable than it needs to be by not checking [1EYE] out." - John Noblet, Birmingham Review
