It was that series i started liking Yang Mi and Mickey He...it just seems Mainland has better actors/actresses...

@QinWang87 yep of course the original was better =) but the new one was refreshing in a way, and for certain characters like erkang i liked the new one better haha! i actually didn't like "schemes of a beauty". i watched like 2/3 the show and gave up! :( despite being a fan of sammul and ruby. :(

@peacie21 eh, I liked the original Huan Zhu Ge Ge with Vicky and Ruby better...you should look into "Palace - Jade Lock", "Romance of the 3 Kingdoms 2010", "Schemes of a Beauty"...

I actually started watching mainland series recently, TVB been disappointing me recently, though they surprise me once in a while

@QinWang87 yeah i think the mainland chinese do the best period dramas. but so far, other than huan zhu ge ge,i havent really found anything i really like yet. also cos when the tvb actors go over, they get dubbed. the feeling is lost imo. mainland china has a lot more money to produce better shows, so i guess thats why. but im not really feeling it yet.
