Firesign Theatre's "I think We're All Bozos On This Bus!" The 1970 classic wherein "Clem," a disgruntled future-man, completely destroys the government's awful "Future Fair" by asking the computer generated president a question it can't answer. This comedy was so far ahead of its time that it is STILL ahead of its time! Featuring holograms, computerized entertainment and clones, in a world gone in the dumpster where no one is able to find work and has to toe the party line. Hmmm, sound like anything you've heard of before? I decided to put together this surreal art video as a tribute to the Firesign Theatre's in credible talents. They inspired me. They will inspire you! Now, please follow the (yellow) rubber line to the Future Fair! A fair for all and no fair to anyone!

Oh, and when you go, could you ask the little sailor to come in? Thanks you!

  • Yes, but were the aliens from Canada or Mexico? Enquiring minds want to know!

  • What I was always amazed about was these guys put this out in the early part of 1972...which means they were rehearsing and writing in 1971. They had already prognosticated the use of 3d holograms, computers running everything, cloning, people going to large Science Fairs or conventions and even having virtual reality programs run their lives. Amazing how close to the truth they were. Now, follow the rubber line to your seat. The Future is just starting now!
