Back when soaps had story arcs and characters grew. Kay would nt be where she is today had this not happened. Now characters stay weak and pathetic.

Katherine Chancellor is a treacherous, murdering bitch. Jill loved this man so much and Katherine the inebriated gargoyle couldn't stand that, so she killed him herself.

THIS is the difference in daytime drama now. Actresses/characters like Katherine who were upfront in the show (and weren't 18) and could act their asses off. Now the shows are filled to the brim with idiot characters like Chloe, Angelina, Sharon, Victoria, etc., who (for whatever reason to me) all sound, look, and act like the SAME character. ???? AND seedm to basically have the same storyline.
