Depends on this year's intake.

Whether you have the instrumental or not does not dictate the length of the song you are required to sing. The judges can request you to stop singing anytime when they think they have heard enough - for good or for bad. :) So the best strategy is to learn to sing your songs well from start to finish, so that even *if* the judges request to sing only the chorus, you are still mentally and vocally prepared.
