God's Newest Angels

Clay Chandler and Raegan Richards walked through the gates of Heaven on September 13, 2009, followed by Kayli Upton on September 14. These 3 children will be greatly missed.

God watched you as you suffered, and knew you had your share.
He gently closed your weary eyes and took you in his care.
Your memory is our keepsake, with that we will never part.
God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.

Nothing could be more beautiful than the memories we have of you.
To us you were someone special. God must have thought so too.

All our lives we shall miss you, as the years come and go,
but in our hearts you will live forever. Because we love you so.

God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with me"

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and fade away.
Although we loved you dearly, you were not meant to stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard- working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best!

I sure do miss my baby clay even though he was my cousin, i was most likely with him and ellie every day and he was more like my brother<3 you are so thoughtfull and i am also playing for the other families that lost their babies:) GOD BLESS YOU Lucy

Thats great about the nursing school. I hope you can accomplish that like you want to. I want to be a pediatric oncologist. I'm in 8th grade and supposed to be jobshadowing in a few weeks for C.O, but I can't shadow at St.Jude like I wanted to, because you have to be 16. So I am going to shadow video editing, hopefully these videos will be better.

I shed a tear myself as well.  I plan on going to Nursing School to get an RN/MSN ultimately. Hopefully I will be able to work with these children. Until that day, I will be praying for them always. Thanks for the posts, keep them coming.

amen to that i cried when i found out about the deaths of these 3 children. I have been reading their caring bridge journals from the beginning and feel as if I knew them. Amazing what tey go through, I know i could'nt

May the Lord welcome these Children into his Loving Presence. May He continue to watch over all the Children of our world who go through this battle. And may we never forget to be inspired by the hearts of these Children. That we may have the grace to look upon everyday with the awe of these Children and appreciate every moment He's given to us. Amen.
