Thank you so very much for posting this song. As a kid in the 60's, my house was under a mile from the local county auction barn. When I first heard this song, I would try to copy the words as best I could and like the boy in the song, I too wanted to try to be an auctioneer, but alas, it was not in the cards. Really, really enjoyed hearing this song once more.
