Alfredo Kraus - The 1996 Tokyo recital - Dynamic

The recital that Alfredo Kraus held in Tokyo on June 15th 1996 celebrated forty years of an amazing and successful career.
The tenor at that time was sixty-nine, and was still an aristocratic figure, naturally endowed with excellent acting skills and refined taste, elegance, self-assurance.
This dvd features a collection of famous pages (some of them operatic, such as the First Act duet from Lucia di Lammermoor) from the French,Spanish and Italian repertoires. Each and every piece is managed with extreme elegance, noble aplomb and ease of emission, qualities that he attained through a formidable technique and a wise management of his carreer.

Werther, por su más digno y exquisito intérprete: Don Alfredo Kraus, a los 69 años de edad. Una calidad que ya hubiesen querido poseer quienes al no poder demostrar mejores cualidades en el canto que él, buscaron atajos mediáticos, relaciones públicas, promociones, etc. Nadie en el mundo podría interpretar esta canción como el Maestro Kraus y menos a tan avanzada edad. Pero la envidia y el egoismo son pésimos compañeros y no se puede tapar el sol con un dedo. Alfredo Kraus, el mejor de todos.
