Upper Veins and Arteries and Part of Lower Veins on a Cat

Miss Kate Allaire went over the material we need to know for our next exam. This is just part of it for our A&P Lab (318) class at UL.

Corrections By Mrs. Penny Antley:

The axillary arteries are outside the thoracic cavity wall in the armpit.
Inside the thoracic cavity is the subclavin. The brachial artery and vein
are actually in the arm. Please be sure to make this correction to the
video.

  • can somebody please give that prof a probe.

  • Lets see. Put the dead strays in a dumpster or put the dead strays in a lab, so that our future doctors and nurses can learn. Tough choice.

  • @jaimyiscool1 pedantic much?

  • i fuck sheep

  • @Tenderace the bright blue stuff is the latex dye that was injected into the veins to make them easier to reconize from arteries. sometimes if you cut or tear the vein the dye will leak out

  • And it's NOT Auxiliary...it's Axillary. Two different things.

Ans it's not Cartoid. It's Carotid. No "oid" sound at the end

And it's not Subclaven, or however the hell you would spell that non-exisant word. It's subclavian. Long I at the end.

How did this woman get to teach a class on anatomy???

    Serioulsy....auxiliary?

With all that being said, helpful video, very thorough.

  • @bruce3329 There are also external iliac veins, just like femoral arteries and veins or brachial arteries and veins

  • the external iliac is an artery not a vein

  • I'd like to know what the blue color is in the chest cavity? Is that from an organ that produces that color in death?

  • This must be a student...

  • poor cat
