  • Jerry looks like he was just fucking with Bob by starting Stir it up. I love the smirk on his face especially when Bob jumps over and says something, probably "do you know the words?" and Jerry just smiles and shakes his head. Awesome!

  • Garcia showing he has chops, not just soul- and how

The climax of this nearly 4 min jam

    from 2:00:53 to 2:04:22

    is epic!

  • at 2:00:53- wailing watchtower solo-yikes!

  • saw a lot of shows in 1988...this was one of my favorites...stir it up...some more...great posting...thank you...

  • The second moment is the ‘Watchtower, Jerry just rips into his solo after Bobby screams “The winds begin to howl”, the best Watchtower I ever saw live, gives me goose bumps seeing it again. The last is during “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”, how Jerry enunciated the “SSShoot them any more” line. There was beams of energy flowing through us all that night, Thanks again. I need to go back and listen to 03/27 and 03/28 again.

  • Thanks for posting, very good audio. The opening does have its moments, the once off “Stir it up” being cool, but truncated. Jerry’s grin is priceless, then mouthing the words to Weir. There are three instances form this show that have been seared on to my brain for the last 23 years. This Hampton run was my 201, 202 and 203 shows but I will never forget the “Stuck inside of Mobile”, with Jerry belting out the refrain. Only a few others are this good.

  • HUGE Fail On "Stir It Up" But What ever they did it good
