True Blood: GODRIC

:::READ THIS::: Spoilers. OKAY, this video would have never ever happened had I not heard this song. I had no intention of ever making a Godric video.

When I hear a song that inspires me to do something, I just do it. And this isn't just a collage of images of Godric, I put them together in a way to have meaning..so if you are interested please read on. :)

WHAT THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT

Godric has lived thousands of years of a meaningless existance. When Eric finds out his makers intent to commit suicide he is devistated. The scenes of the disturbing vampires dancing and the violent scenes at the end are in there to reinforce the monstrous nature Godric see's in himself. In all these years vampires have not evolved, they are still as violent if not entirely embracing of their predetory behavior. Humans somewhat disgust them, they have little interest in. And in the course of your lifetime, how many lives is it worth ending in order to preserve your own?

The images of Isabel's sadness I loved, as they represent what is a vampire "taboo" - truly loving a human...or maybe loving period. And it is quite sad that only Godric was the one to recognize the importance of this love.

So this is my tribute to Godric, in which it took thousands of years of his existance to realize eternal life is not as important as embracing your humanity. And in the end he is hollow inside, only being full of joy at the meeting of his end.

Hope you like it, I'm not sure how the rendering and editing came out because my PC has been running slow lately on graphics. THANKS to those who continue to support my videos. You are awesomeness.

When i found your channel last year and ur impecible videos this one stood out.. the song.. which lead me onto this band.. But when season 3 ended and The Appearance off Godric at Fangastia with both Eric and Russel Cuffed n at the building site with the cement.. the look off disgust on godrics face and the hurt he felt that Eric Forgive for Russel Slaying his Family.I miss his Godric even if it was short lived.U and a 2 others i watch to see if uve uploaded..U must be busy working one i hope :)

Godric will come back in season 3. Due to the huge popularity of Godrics character he will be brought back, just as Lafayette still lives (unlike the books were he is killed). :)

i think godric needs to find some type of magical way to reappear on true blood again.... hopefully in season 4.... he's too cute to have only been in the show for such a short period of time :(

I liked Godric's character on the show but I hated the season he was in, which distracted greatly from what they could have done with his character. I'm talking about Maryanne. That whole thing where after Godric dies and the Stackhouses take Bill back to Bon Temps was a straight rip off of Stephen King, particularly "Needful Things"
