  • Thank you so much.

She is my RoleMODEL and HERO!!!

  • This woman is a beautifully positive person. She does not blame 'that bad group of people who are responsible' and she does not stoop to bickering and calling them bad human beings. She identified the problem and offered some suggestion as to how some part of the attitude that caused it could be addressed and dealt with on a simple level, which could have profound effect.

  • We should not forget, what this mama Stand for. She stood for nature, her people, and Africa. She was killed bcus she was about winning the European on her reparations case. She is not alone, Abiola of the yoruba people in west Africa, Malcom X in America and many other unknown ancestors were all killed bcus they demanded for reparation.

If you truly an African and love Africa carry this message everyday in your heart.

Mama Wangari Maathai, lives forever and bring your killers to ruin..

  • Rest In Peace Prof. What you stood for is amazing!!!!

  • True Afrikan Queen!

She's such an inspiration for me.

  • @LATQueens I'm not sure if you took my comment in a wrong way or what? I didn't mean to offend you or anyone for that matter... as my own ancestors are native americans and africans, though my skin turned out white. I am just amazed at how good she looks, despite her age. There aren't many elderly people out there with such great looking skin, regardless of race and colors. What I meant to say is the main factor I was looking at was AGE, not race or skin color. ;-)

  • @SUGGAMAMI9

Very little wrinkles on her because it's the Melanin that many Africans were gifted with.

  • REST in peace Wangari. Mother of Trees.

  • RIP Maathai, walk good. xx

  • UNBOWED HEROINE !!!!!!!!!!!

  • The Generation that destroys the environment is usually not the generation that pays the price - Wangari Maathai (Rest in Peace - The Tree Mother of Africa)
