  • I'm about to buy Asus Eee PC 1000HE, and I like to install Ubuntu 9.04 on the Notebook. Is Ubuntu faster and compatible with most things than Windows XP?

Because I like the look of it, and I like to try something new. I will be using this Notebook mostly for making scholwork (office programs and such) and browsing trough the internet.

  • You should install both XP and Ubuntu dual boot , trust me you will be happier .

  • What's the name of that theme? Where did you get it (what site)?

  • Hi, click on the link to my blog article that explains where to get the themes.

  • im new to it but what is Ubuntu?

  • It is a free distribution of Linux which has its own flavor of operating system. Its basically an alternative to installing and using Microsoft Windows or Apple's OSX.
