Christmas in the Trenches -- mountain dulcimer instrumental cover

My take on Christmas in the Trenches by John McCutcheon. This ballad tells the story of the Christmas Truce of 1914.

I've always liked this song, and decided to give it a try. I think my basic arrangement is OK, but my playing skills are not yet up to the task. Even piping a metronome through my earbuds while playing wasn't quite enough to keep me on the beat.

That's OK. I enjoyed learning it, and I'll be able to post a better version eventually.

Playing is spot on but I'm not sure you could bring the emotions without anybody knowing what you are playing about "this silent night said I ,as with two tonges one song lit up that sky"

That being said I did enjoy it
