I went the last Friday and there was only 3 wagons there and the cranes had removed the other ones and they were fixing the track

@FishplateFilms It was all pretty casual, the onlookers weren't really getting in the way from what I saw, so they weren't to fussed about it. Once the cranes set up I suspect the area would have been cleared.

I reckon there will be a few days over Christmas fixing that up.
I once saw a high speed derailment in Merredin WA a few years ago, container cars piled on top of each other with the bogies ripped off, amazing the amount of damage and the forces involved.
And yes, it would be good to see some recovery footage.

@gm16v149 Getting back up there christmas day to get more might be tricky !! I was hoping the cranes would have started by yesterday morning when I was there.

@MickFix The grain lines nth of Korong Vale are still open. This should be re opened in another day or so, assuming they are working at the moment to clear it.
