Teresa Teng I Just Called To Say I Love You (Stevie Wonder)

Recorded in front of a live audience at NHK, Tokyo in 1985, this is one of my favourites. For this song, she donned a pair of dark glasses as tribute to the original singer/songwriter Stevie Wonder. I cannot decide whether I like this better or her version of "I have never been to me" or "The Power of Love." This NHK broadcast was a big event... magnificent props, superb musicians, state-of-the-art technology and of course, beautiful costumes including a wedding gown complete with veil!!! And, as always, her evident love and care for her listeners, her fans who showered her with gifts and bouquets! Spectacular! How I miss her.

I believe this is the most BEAUTIFUL VOICE I have ever heard. She is absolutely addictive. I have to listen to her EVERY DAY...GOD BLESS HER I know she sings with the ANGELS now.

teresa teng's Taiwanese (Hokien) albums made her famous in all South Asia in 70's, Mandarin album made her famous in China early 80. Japanese albums in Japan,Taiwan,Korea70-80's. Taiwanese part is very important part of her life.
