Then again, I /really/ don't like buying dogs from pet stores ^^;;

Yeah, it's always best to meet both parents or get a rescue. Lovely dog though, how could you not bring him home!

I wish my bassett was still a puppy. Nothing can appraoch the cuteness of a bassett hound puppy.

I agree. I love dogs (esp bassets), but whenever a pet shop like Petland says they get their pups from "registered breeders" that's code for puppy mills.
