Oh my....phase units. Packed tightly together, almost like row houses. But those were the kinds of homes everyone wanted to build in the late 70s to early 80s. Complete with white or pink bathrooms and wall to wall carpeting. Yuk!

@94IAW because there was a movie shot at that location back in the ' 80's and they had to make it prettier so it won't have an ordinary / casual look which people are used to.

Why does the neighborhood and the hills of Simi Valley look so different though between the 1980s and 2007? It looks prettier in 1980 than 2007.
