Brokaw & pals couldn't even leave their biases out of this MTP episode, made ostensibly to honor Russert and his work. They put one quote on screen the entire show, and it was the one quote McCain wished he hadn't said (he understood foreign policy better than the economy). Tom Brokaw is a disgrace to what used to be called journalism, and I feel so sorry for him, knowing he has to lie to his family when discussing his career ("I was a journalist"...no, you were a liberal advocate).

What was great about Tim was that he put his personal opinions aside every time. Republican or Democrat, he expected you to be prepared and to put your points out intelligently. He called out everyone, on both political sides, if they were not prepared or couldn't prove themselves. He was as unbiased as they came in regards to debate on this show. He wasa great man. RIP Tim, and Go Bills!

Tim Russert LOVED politics and LOVED his country. You knew when he reported he really REPORTED, not just expounded as so many so-called journalists do. He is surely missed.

I can't beleive some of the comments of some of these people, I think Tim was a lovely person, he was fair, and an excellent anchor, whether we are republican or democrat, we should remember him for the great person he was, my prayers go to Tim's Family and to the staff at NBC.
