@iKrackeD evolution happens gradually. each generation would not have looked so different from their parents, but over time, the change from ape-like to man-like creatures happened. no monkey ever gave birth to a human, there was a chain of middle-species.

i make fun because when you actually look at what the beliefs are, they are silly- ridicule worthy. the book promotes hate against women, gays, it condones slavery and rape.

if you ignore these quotes, you are cherrypicking.

@ReligionIsAFraud thats the problem you don't understand the bible, the bible doesn't promote hate against women and gays. and definitely doesn't regard rape or slavery in a favoring manner. there are stories of when a lot of this happened, but you cannot understand the word of god by just a few quotes. and micro evolution is true, we do change. but macro evolution is false. God created us in his image, and in ways we are similar to the apes. but there were no middle species.

the mere passing down of a book from multiple generations is no more proof of a sound description of reality than if a doobie were passed down instead. except ironically, being high might get you closer what with it allowing you to open your mind. it's more than probable the bible was passed down for so long only because its constituents weren't allowed to question it...

if you're going to use proof rhetoric to rationalize your claims you also need to use logic.
