Former Governor of Minnesota and former WWE wrestler Jesse "The Body" Ventura shoots on the WWE and Vince McMahon as it related to classifying it's workers as "independent contractors." Ventura states that wrestlers should not be subject to the 15% contractor tax and the lack of benefits. He stated that WWE "gets away with murder on taxes," and mentions he wants to unionize pro wrestling.

I have to agree with Jesse Ventura. There's no way that wrestlers are "independent contractors" based on the legal definition.

  • @BiGJoEMo WW-F has created a lot of great history...WWE is a shell of what was that has ruined the business!

  • WWE has created a lot of great history, but there are some things that SERIOUSLY need to be fixed in WWE, because that has allowed them to create some horrific, tragic history as well.

  • WWE will always be there....like it or not....it is a marketing genious. And, just like the NFL, men will fight to be a part of it. ....and just like any big business, people will fight for the money and prestige....no matter what is necessary....steroids, exploitation, etc. It's sick, but watch Christmas shopping for an item; the nature of the beast....human beings.

  • not a SEAL

  • I never did though,I am just putting as if I was going to.This shows me that I made a good choice of giving up going into pro wrestling. It is my best decision.

  • This is bad, even if I considered working for a wrestling company and found out they did this I would never sign a contract.
