Dear Animal-Loving Friends,

May you please be Scooby-Roos Guardian Angel? Dumped underneath a wrecked car in a gang-ridden neighborhood, Scooby-Roo was found covered in scrapes and wounds on his chest. He was cowering in fear and fighting to live. Poor little Scooby-Roo was found missing limbs and he was thumping around to get by. Thats right. He was most likely born without his front two legs and thats why his people no longer wanted Scooby-Roo. He is only 6 months of age and a bundle of joy.

Fuzzy Rescue has taken in this puppy to rehabilitate and to adopt out to nothing short of a phenomenal home. But we need YOUR help in raising $2000. Scooby-Roo will need a cart to be off to a brand new start at life. Because he is a growing puppy, Scooby-Roo must be fitted into multiple carts at different stages of his life. Furthermore he will need professional therapy as Scooby-Roo has had a horrible start—his hind legs are very weak, and his hindfoot was twisted from being left on the streets all alone from a young age.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Fuzzy Rescue today (TIN: 20-3949123)! Every penny counts in saving lives, and Scooby-Roo depends on YOU! PayPal donations can be made by clicking here.

Checks can also be made out to Fuzzy Rescue and mailed to the following address:

  • I'm happy for Scooby -- but does anyone really find this "inspiring"? This kind of thing is depressing. And people are free to spend their time and money as they please, but think of how many dogs were NOT saved because of all the time and energy spent on this one dog.

  • @jeffmaylor The rescue organization that helped Scooby Roo, Fuzzy Rescue, treated him just like any other rescue case. Just because he did not have front legs did not mean that any time or resources were taken away from other dogs that needed it. Fuzzy rescue believes that ALL dogs deserve a chance at life, even ones that were born with a deformity. The cost of saving this dog was not any more than the cost of saving any other dog.

  • CaliMJFan - Fuzzy Rescue has been able to raise money for his first set of wheels and rehab. We are actively raising money for his future carts and therapy sessions. Any excess funds will go directly to his FUND to help spay and neuter dogs and cats in need. Please help us spread the word. In saving lives every penny counts!

  • Thank you so much bwlight, and please continue to spread the word!
