Beat sync tut: How to make a beat synchronized music video using multi cam tracks and your 10 key number pad in Sony Vegas pro 9. Beat syncing music to visuals is easy to do in Sony Vegas 9, just follow this "Step by Step Walk Through":

.) Load your Song
.) Load up to 9 video clips or scenes you would like to work with
.) ungroup the audio tracks from the clips and delete the audio
.) pick the best scenes / frames and copy them till the end of your song
.) select all your video tracks
.) go to EXTRAS and select "create multi cam track"
.) activate Multi Cam Editing with "control - shift - D"
.) hit the space bar and start playback
.) use your "ten key number pad" to call your shots
note: if you want to make beat synchronized cuts it's best to NOT look at the screen while cutting. using your ears will give better results, because the preview is delayed ...
.) hit the space bar again to stop playback
.) turn off Multi Cam Editing with "control - shift - D"
.) hit space bar and watch what you have made
.) start fine tuning your video as normal
.) done ;-)
