Do you fingerpick everything?
Because I've kind of fallen into that habit...never picked up a pick, and don't intend to anytime soon.
How's it working out for you?
Have you come across some things that have been difficult to play due to the lack of a pick? Well, now that I think about it, this was probably one of them...but in the long run, are you happy with your decision?
I'm trying to decide whether I should break out the plectrum earlier in my musical journey (now) vs. later or not at all.

When I first started, I couldn't get a nice sound using a pick & it kept slipping out, so I primarily fingerpicked everything. It wasn't until recently that I tried using a pick again - this time I bought a whole bunch and found a good one with trial and error. Took me awhile to feel comfortable with pick in hand. For song's like Who Did You Think I Was, you definitely need one. I say don't limit yourself, and play songs with and without the pick.

Can you post how you do the hammer on in the verse? The sympatico site doesn't show it. :(

On the intro hammer/pulls, try to hit the strings more with the very tip of your finger than the pad of skin in the front... you'll get a much crisper sound. But great vocals, your voice has great tones and the rasp on the higher mix voice notes works really well.
