Robert Bosnak talks about dreams, imagination, habitual consciousness and demonstrates a little of his work: Embodied Imagination. This is the first in a series of shorts in which Robert Bosnak talks about his work.
The footage comes from what is to become a documentary on his and Janet Sonenberg's method Dreamwork with
Actors. In 2009 three Swedish actors worked with Jon Fosse's play "Warm". Robert Bosnak and Janet Sonenberg conducted dreamwork with them to help the actors get in contact and be profoundly infused with the presence of their character. Two cinematographers followed the work.
@AlexActor10 Hi Alex, happy to read about your curiosity! As you have Robert Bosnaks book: Embodiment. Creative Imagination in Medicine, Art and Travel, you'll find answers on all your questions. The documentary I'm working on tells about one part of his work, Dreamwork for Actors. I follow one actress and her work with Robert Bosnak and Janet Sonenberg while rehearsing a play. She also tells about her reactions on the work. As soon I get fundings, I'll finish the film.

Just bought the book tonight. I'm so interested in this technique yet confused on how the exercises work, whether you actually try to induce a type of dream and actually sleep, or just go into a hypnotic state.. But then again like I said I just bought the book tonight so maybe if I read it I won't have the confusion lol. Can't wait for the documentary.
