to ninium 1955 - 10 months since you posted your query, and you may have the answer already. Written for tv by Tom Stoppard, the greatest living playwright in the english language. Never released on dvd or video - probably because it's not pro-left. Tom's politics are largely anti-communist and some of his stage plays tackle the evils of the regimes. The BBC don't like showing Professional Foul very often. That should tell you something about the BBC

I loved this play when I saw it in the late 70s. My reaction was WHO WROTE THIS??? Will you post more or tell me where to find a copy?
