They're getting rich off of our money
If it weren't criminal, it might be funny
They're gambling away our pensions and savings
They're getting rich off of our money


The big banks are buying up the little banks
And the bigger banks are buying up the big banks
And the biggest banks are buying up the bigger banks
That's how these banks got too big to fail

They're making bets off of derivatives of derivatives
so that they can live
At the top of the financial food chain
And when there's a recession they don't feel pain
They're rigging the game so that they can cheat
And we feel all the pain

When you put money in a bank
you'd think the owners would thank you for giving them a job
But no, they've got to lie and cheat and swindle
It is your money they rob

They're creating mortgage backed securities
they know are going to fail
And selling loans on the secondary market
it is junk way worse than mail.

The regulators give these crooks a clean bill of health
Because they are getting a clean bill of health
They're getting jobs in the industry
After they're done working for you nd me

Instead of conservatively investing your money
