  • David,

Really great work on the Turbo Century and Olds! Do you still do any work like that on these old cars? I have an 87 Century with the 2.8 that I have wanting to Turbo charge for years. What kind of money would a person be looking at to do a Turbo kit on this car?

    Thanks,

    JW

  • @vicioussix Yes I still do tinker with old GM cars! It's an incurable condition! The money can be as much or little as you make it. You can have 2 out of 3: Good, Cheap, Quick. Once you have the main hardware to do the turbo conversion, (turbocharger, injectors, intercooler) the remainder of the system is all pipework and tubing. If you have fabrication skills, the cost is not that great. With used and cheap parts, I did one for $600 in parts and a couple weeks of spare-time work.

  • OK next question. Would you be willing to do a conversion on my Century should I go that route. Approx. what would I be looking at labor wise. Feel free to email me if you like.
