Are tree ferns native to southern Japan?

I'm not sure. I had a hard enough time figuring out if it was a tree fern. I know that they definitely exist elsewhere. The places that I did see them in Japan seemed pretty wild, but that might not mean much.

Good capture of the boonies and some of the lizards and birds... really can get a sense of the humidity by the redness of your guide's face.. :)
