The Colorado River is the seventh largest river in the U.S., supplying water to over 30 million people. It is also one of the most diverted, silted, and heavily litigated rivers in the world. The farmers and residents of the rapidly growing western states rely on the river for irrigation, drinking water, and electricity. This demand has permanently altered the river's ecology. The Colorado River: Flowing Through Conflict shows us the river's entirety—from its headwaters in the Colorado Rockies to the dry riverbed that once reached the Sea of Cortez—in an oversized, full-color, photo essay format.
Can't wait to see your film in Ventura on 3/24 at the Wild and Scenic Films on Tour. This is the classic story of the "Cadillac Desert" that needs modern storytelling. It was great chatting with you in DC last month and hope to connect soon. Best of luck with your film tour. Cheers, Rich

Hey I really loved this film! Is there anywhere I can see a list of the songs in this film? I thought they were perfect music choices.

I've never been to the Colorado River, but I can say that it is on my bucket list.

Great project, worthy subject. Contentious is the path of each droplet of water from source to use. What once was mighty has been diverted and exploited to the extreme.
I love the river and respect its power. Thank you for this respectful tribute.

Thats kinda creepy knowing that the water is slowly vanishing and now the river does not even hit the ocean.
