Canon adds key innovations to Powershot range

Canon's Powershot A1100 and SX200 digital camera lines are known for their user-friendly features like scene detection and auto red eye technology.

And now the scanner, printer and multifunction manufacturer has revealed that its PowerShot G11 digital compact camera will impress even more through a range of "key innovations".

Canon puts the new camera's high-resolution LCD screen and improved noise reduction at the top of the list.

The Dual Anti-Noise System is said to enable photographers to capture full resolution images even in tricky, low-light conditions.
