@nickstix The two outside drums are a 32" and a 20" or 23".
The sizes you listed would be possible, but you would have to get your 26" up to F#, and the 29 would be fairly low in the range, but it would work if you needed it to.

Im trying to figure out the break down of this, are the 2 drums on the outside which can not be tuned, the 2 23" drums you have labeled at G# and A?
also, do you think it would be possible to do this with 8 drums of a set of...
32,32,29,29,26,26,23,23?

Hey would this be at all possible doing any of the movements on just 5 drums?? This is because i want to do a timp. solo but none have been appealing but this one. and my school only has 5.--32,29-26-23-21.

does anyone here know any good mallet percussion solos? I dont have enough timpani to do this song.
Who was your teacher? Your style looks very much like David Herbert's from the SF Symphony. Great job!!!

@Symphorch I had a few main timpani teachers by that point- Bill Wiggins (Nashville Symphony) and John Feddersen (North Carolina Symphony). Thanks for watching!
