It´s the usual for the men over there go with the bride buy the dress? Over here (Portugal) guys will only see the bride with her dress when she´s on her way to the altar. They say it´s bad luck see the woman before that.

All this seems so extremely expensive compared to what is the norm in europe. US and Japan seem to have the most ridiculous weddings :) Beatiful and cute but ridiculous...

those are cocktail dresses? x_X they looked more like dresses for a prom. an expensive prom at a private school or something...

i mean they are pretty but assuming all your friends get married at the same time are they going to reuse the same dress or buy a ton of those super fancy ones? imo you'd be better off using that money for a house payment

@Angelyoon Here, at least to the last ones I went, they take pictures at the church after the wedding, then they take at the place where the after party first some pretty fancy ones with the married couple and then with all the guests at it. ;) Then....off to eat!!! :D
